evil or good?

How can i change my orientation? Is it something that we must do , or is it something automatic...from the server?

It's automatic. It depends on spells you choose. So if you don't want to be good make sure you don't choose healing. And if you really want to be very evil you should choose Shadows spells

i've chosen fire...no healing from a very long time now...and i'm still neutral

I thought it goes by what level mages you attack?
Somthing like if you attack lower levels (or they attack you i think counts too) you go toward the evil side
and if you attack more higher levels (or them you) you go toward the good

not sure about that, i attach only high level and i'm still neutral. It goes by level and spells you choose. Serraphine chose Healing and she's very good, Mortiis chose Shadows and he's evil. I'm learning fire and i'm also neutral.

I'm fighting higher level mages, with my Shadow Spells. My alignment is evil.

so the conclusion is that elements are neutral and only healing or shadow spellls affect your alignment to good or evil?

We'll try to find the answer on a German Server and let you know when we find out something for sure. Right now we know that the Healing and Shadow School define alignments, but we're not sure about the rest of it.

No, there is a few servers. Our Server is UK Server 1. There is also USA Server 1, and there are 2 German Servers. Server 1 and Server 2. They are on very high levels already and they understand the game much better than us. That's why we try to find the answers there.

Is there a limit to the spells one can have in the spellbook? I'm trying to maintain a balanced progression, levelling up all my spells before moving on. Can you master every spell?

oh, no, that's not a good way to go, it's best that you choose one direction for a good start. Every direction has 15 spells and you must master all of them to become dominus majoris...and that takes about 45 levels. so to master all u'd need 270 levels for all 6 directions of spells. take a look at the spell books in info center and choose your direction to get to the stronger spells sooner.

You can and you will eventually, but I'm just sorry you didn't ask about it earlier. It is advisable to pursue only one particular school of magic... When we reach very high levels, of course you run out of spells from one school and start to focus on others.

I suggest you focus now on one particular school between the 6...

I was wondering something. Since I've been gone I have turned evil. How is this possible? I only have one Shadow Spell in my repertoire.
